1988 Hellinger Award Winner- Bill Stephens

Alden native William Stephens won the Hellinger Award in 1988. A three-year intern for the university office of public relations, Stephens was a reporter and editor of The Bona Venture and a member of Kappa Tau Alpha, an organization that gave him its "Top Scholar Award" the same year he received Hellinger honors. As an intern, he worked for The Buffalo News. The cum laude graduate was listed as one of the Outstanding College Students of America.
